Blogmas Day 3: My ultimate favorite berry lip combo.....

Hello and happy blogmas day three!

Today I'm going to be showing you my favorite berry lip look. Berry and plum lips are the lip looks that I die for! I honestly wear my dark lipsticks all year long, so I love that it's winter and I can wear them like everyday. So this is my favorite berry lip look, which is perfect if you want to take a daring step past red but you don't want to go more vampy with a plum.

To start, I exfoliated my lip with my Lush Mint Julip Lip Scrub just to prep my lips. I like the sweet mint taste of this lip scrub and I love how the moisturizing oil from the lip scrub really helps to moisturize your lips. Next I took my Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat (lip liner) in the shade Berry naughty and I filled in my entire lips. My tip for you guys is that with dark lips it is always better to use a dark lip liner, and to fill in your whole lips with the lip liner before you apply your lipstick, liquid lipstick, or lipgloss. A lip liner just makes it super classy and perfect and it makes the wear time better. This lipstick's formula is incredible, but with so many other dark lipsticks the formulas can be sheer or patchy. So, using a lip liner just really works to help dark colored lip colors to work out way better. And lastly I will use the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in Glastonberry. This lipstick is incredible! It is such a beautiful purple red berry shade and it has a beautiful (obviously) matte finish. What is really unique about this lipstick is that it is matte, but it is as comfortable as some of my other satin lipsticks.

So yeah, This is my first "lip look" post for blogmas! I have a ton of different posts plans ( including another really festive lip look that is coming up soon) so make sure you check back tomorrow for my next post. Thanks for reading :)

DON'T MISS THE FUN.
