Week of the lip: Light Peachy Nude Lip Look (Mariah Carey X Mac)

Hi! I hope your having a great day :)

Today I'm doing a lip look that is much more wearable than yesterdays. This is such a pretty girly lip look which is so easy. It is a light cool peachy nude from the Mariah Carey X Mac collection which launched early December. I was so excited for this collection, and I really wanted to pick up one of the frost shades but I was too slow (sadly) . I'm really excited that I was able to pick up this shade though, as I really wanted the lipstick for the color and for the absolutely stunning packaging.

This look is super simple as I actually didn't line my lips. I also didn't prep them with chapstick or a lip scrub as this lipstick is pretty moisturizing. It is the shade Mcizzle in the creme sheen formula. If you haven't heard of the creme sheen formula it is a somewhat glossy, creamy, moisturizing lipstick formula that is still pretty pigmented. I honestly forgot how much I loved the creme sheen formula until I started to wear this a ton! Now that it's winter and its snowy (and where I live dry) its so much nicer to wear a creamy lipstick rather than a matte one.

That's it! I know this lip look was super short but you could always add a gloss on top or a lip liner. I honestly was trying to pair this lipstick with a light enough lip liner and I didn't own one that would work. Also because it's a light nude color it honestly doesn't really need one and if I can get away without using a lip liner I will totally do it.

Thanks for reading! Check back tomorrow for another lip look :)

P.S. some of the Mariah Carey X Mac collection is still in stock (including the lipstick I used) so make sure to pick one of the items from the collection up soon if you want to get them before they sell out. This is one of the most beautiful packaging for a product that I have ever seen!

DON'T MISS THE FUN.
