January Favorites

Hi!! These are my favorites for this month! Thanks for reading :)

P.S. please excuse my nails as they were not looking the best in these photos

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer

I picked up this concealer towards the end of last year and it quickly became my absolute favorite concealer. I had heard so much hype over this concealer and I was really interested in trying it out to see if it was really all that... and it totally is. I am a concealer obsessed girl and I have almost used up my entire tube already! This is a full coverage, creamy, and very opaque concealer that blends out so flawlessly. I love it under the eye the best as it really cancels out my dark circles but it does a good job with spots as well. It is also affordable which I love as I don't really want to spend a ton of money on a concealer as knowing me I will just use it up so fast.

Maybelline Color Tattoo creme eyeshadow in Inked in Pink

I have wanted to try out a color tatoo from Maybelline for the longest time and I finally did this month. This was my favorite out of the two that I picked up as it is a shimmery pink shade. I love applying pink shades as a lid color and then applying a brown/ burgundy color in the crease and outter corner. This works perfectly for my go to eye look right now and it last forever without creasing. These come in so many different colors and I am totally going to try to pick a few more up if they go on sale.

Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette

I wrote a whole big long review on this palette so I will link that at the end of this post... but pretty much I am obsessed with this palette and I barely even touched any of my other ones (not even my chocolate bar palette which I literally used to use non-stop).

Coffee travel mug

One of my goals in the new year is to work on drinking more water. I have been good in the past about drinking a lot of water and I want to get back not that as it really did help my skin. So as part of that I have been using this adorable tea travel mug! although it is meant for hot drinks, I love using it for tea or for water as having a cute and travel friendly drink carrier has really helped me to work on my goal.

Lilly Pulitzer planner

Another one of my goals is to be more organized and generally on top of my life (or at least more on top of my life), so I purchased a new Lilly Pulitzer 17-month agenda (planner). I got one of these last year and I loved it as it was so fun and helpful in organizing my life. I love the adorable blue design on the front and the stickers that come insides. It is just so helpful, as well as creative and cute, that it makes organizing and staying organized so much more fun.

Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip in Beeper

I have been absolutely obsessed with brown lipstick lately. Like literally obsessed! I had a hard time narrowing it down to which I liked the best but I think it would have to be Beeper from Colour Pop. I got this shade during the summer and I didn't really like it that much but I have totally changed my mind. It is a dark khaki brown that really channels the 90's slightly punk brown lip, and I love the ultra matte formula as it is insanely long lasting.

Lastly, I have really been loving getting back into visual arts. I am a student so I am involved in some visual art classes at school, but I have started to create more art on my free time as well. I love painting and drawing to de-stress, and to just take some time to do something that is so creative and positive. This is a favorite of January and I am so looking forward to continuing it through the year.
