Vogue X Birchbox 125th Anniversary Box unboxing

Hi Guys! Today I have an exciting post as I got my Birchbox X Vogue limited edition box in the mail yesterday, and I can’t wait to show it to you. This is a limited-edition box that retails for $68, and includes seven full size products and one sample sized one . This is in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Vogue, and was curated by Vogue’s beauty editor, Celia Ellenberg. The box also has some products that are collaborations with Vogue and are exclusive to this box as well. I am not subscribed to Birchbox and this was the first time I have ordered from their site, as this box was an amazing value ($224 value for the $68 price tag) and the brands included are amazing.

So, keep reading to see the products included…

The first product is the Ouai Rose Hair and Body oil. This is the only product out of the eight that is a sample size (0.85 fl oz.) and this product recently released as a full size on Sephora. Ouai is the creation of celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin, who has worked for some of the most influential celebrities; like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and Katy Perry. This brand is sold at Sephora and is very raved over so I’ so excited to try this oil out. I love to use hair oil when my hair is lifeless or after I’ve used a straightener as it needs a little bit of something to make it look nice again. It smells incredible (like someone just handed you a freshly picked rose) and I cannot wait to use this.

Full size (3 fl oz.) for $32.00

The next product is something from Charlotte Tilbury (which was a huge factor in my interest in this box as I love Charlotte Tilbury products) and it is the Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask. I believe this came out recently (or fairly recently) when Charlotte Tilbury revamped her skin care and added on some new additions. This mask looks incredible, and very interesting as a dry sheet mask is something that is very innovative and very intriguing to me. It claims to hydrate, lift, reduce wrinkles, smooth and brighten, which are claims that we all would want to be true, as this mask should so something for everyone.

Single use mask retails for $22.00

Set of four retails for $80.00

The next product is something that I was also very excited about as it’s from the brand Nars. Nars is such a cool girl brand, and every time I go into Sephora I find myself at the Nars display looking at their amazing products. I haven’t tried out that much from them, actually Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush duo are the full extent of it. So, trying out the Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in the exclusive shade Vogue Rose is so exciting to me. This was one of the product where Vogue collaborated with Nars to create a beautiful rose Champaign color. This is specifically a shadow pencil, but within the box it is advertised as a chubby stick to be used on the eyes and face.

This shade is only available in this box but other Nars Soft Touch Shadow Pencils retail for $25.00

The next product is the Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Face Mist which is non- toxic and has a coconut water base. This is another cool girl brand, I mean this is curated by Vogue so I guess it’s all very cool, but I have actually seen Herbivore on Instagram and Pinterest a lot lately. This includes 4 oz. of product and comes in a beautiful glass container with a nozzle that mists the spray perfectly on your face. I had to give this product a go as soon as I opened it and it felt so refreshing and hydrating!

Available for $16.00

The next product is a beauty one, and it is from the brand RMS beauty. RMS beauty is organic, and is quite pricey. The lip2cheek cream product usually retails for $36 (the vogue rose shade which is in this box is also available in limited quantities on the RMS website), and works as a multitasking color that can be built up from sheer to a more intense color on the lips and cheeks. It is a beautiful pinky peach shade that will be perfect for minimal light weight summer makeup.

Available for $36 on the RMS Beauty website

This is such an exciting addition to the box as it is the Earth Tu Face Face Balm. This is a very (again) cool product as it’s created by two herbalists and is a natural product. The balm is thick and is used to calm irritation and give moisture to the skin. It includes rose petals to calm irritation and immortelle flower to increase cell turnover in the skin. This was another product that I just couldn’t wait to try, and I put this on before bed to wake up with skin that wasn’t dry in the slightest and looked amazing. I couldn’t be happier with this product being in the box!

This product retails for $68.00- so if you are interested in purchasing this product I would recommend buying the whole box, as the whole price of this product alone is the price of this box-so it’s quiet a deal.

The next product is the Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner, which is a super moisturizing treatment that combats any sign of drying. It has a light pink tint, and gives some shine to the lips when applied.

Available for $28.00

Last, but not least, there is another product which is exclusive to this box/ collaboration. It is the JINsoon nail polish in the shade Vogue Rose. The brand is created by nail artist Jin Soon Choi, who is often the artist behind the manicures featured in Vogue magazine. This is a beautiful peachy pink polish which just screams summer, it says to apply two coats for an opaque glossy finish. I cannot wait to apply this before I go on vacation next week as it will be the perfect beachy but stylish color.

JINsoon nail polishes retail for $18.00

So, there is my unboxing, I hope enjoyed reading it. If you couldn’t already tell I really like this box and think the value of it is so amazing for the price tag. The variety of brands and products is also amazing and I’m SO excited to try all these out.

Have you guys heard of this Vogue X Birchbox box or tried any of the products out?

DON'T MISS THE FUN.
